Certificates of analysis
Every lot we release is tested before it reaches stock, and the certificate covering your specific lot is available on request. Lot numbers are printed on each vial label so that a result at your bench can always be traced back to the material that produced it.
What we test
Purity is determined by high-performance liquid chromatography and reported as main peak area against total peak area. Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry, comparing observed molecular mass against the theoretical mass for the intended sequence. A lot is released only when purity reaches 99% or above.
Purity without identity is half an answer — a clean single peak tells you a sample is largely one substance, not that it is the sequence you ordered. Running both is why our certificates carry a chromatogram alongside the mass data rather than a single headline figure.

Send the compound name and the lot number from your vial to synapselabsjay@gmail.com. If you are evaluating before ordering, ask for the certificate of the lot currently in stock and we will send it ahead of purchase.

- What tests appear on the certificate?
- HPLC purity with the chromatogram, mass spectrometry identity showing observed against theoretical mass, appearance, and the test date for that lot.
- What does the purity percentage actually measure?
- HPLC purity is the area of the main peak as a percentage of total peak area — the proportion of ultraviolet-absorbing material that is your target peptide. It does not measure non-absorbing content such as residual water or counter-ions, which is why vial content is stated as nominal peptide content.
- Can I get the certificate before ordering?
- Yes, for a lot currently in stock. Ask before you order and we will send the current lot's certificate so you can review it first.
